"PORTRAIT OF FORGOTTEN WOMEN" project, Adrienne La Faye developed a national five-state Portrait series of fifty-two African American women inmates empowering using their voices to boost self-esteem, combined with visual portrait makeovers. Captured in a documentary filming the five-city tour and my personal short. Paint the offender's portrait for makeovers to uplift self-esteem, offer platforms for them to use their voices, and capture their written words to attach them to original paintings.
